Hell's Raging Fury

I am happy to say...Hell's Raging Fury is back in print and better than ever with a brand new cover! Here is a little piece to entice!

Beautiful sixteen year old Brandy Sinclair watched in horror as her father died in her arms. She was then stripped of the wealth and comfort of her home as she was forced to sign over her inheritance to her step-siblings. She then endured countless acts of violence against her body and was sold into slavery. Life looked bleak as the slave ship rolled into New York harbor, until a handsome pirate came to her rescue. Captain Nick Tremaine was a notoriously well known pirate among the colonies. It was 1774 and an upheaval was coming to the little nation that England tried to strip of its pride. Nick was on a mission to help the colonists and make a little money on the side, but when he came aboard the slave ship that carried more precious cargo than slaves, his heart stopped as he watched a beautiful young woman being whipped for trying to escape. Was this then Brandy’s fate? Or would Nick intervene? Which heart will fall to the throes of Hell’s Raging Fury? You can buy this book at www.amazon.com

Ancestors of Fire

Well it is finally here! My long awaited book cover for Book 2 of The Empowered Spirits Series.
Ancestors of Fire is the story of Aeryn and Angus that you met in book 1, Dragon Lord of Kells.
I am still in the editing process but am hoping Ancestors of Fire will be available by mid spring!
Here is a small excerpt to wet your appetite:

She did not trust him. No, that was not true. He had done nothing to make her distrust him. It was herself she did not trust. Every time he was near her, her palms would grow moist, her heart would flutter and her throat would suddenly go dry where she could not speak without croaking. No, she had wanted this small amount of time to herself in order to put a grip on her traitorous body where he was concerned, but it didn’t look like she had done a very good job at it. His words brought her out of her thoughts.
“You are my wife, Aeryn, whether we both like it or not and I wish to get to know you.” He had stopped near the window and looked out upon the valley and the woods beyond. It was twilight and the moon had not risen as of yet. The last rays of sunlight could be seen diminishing behind a dark cloud.
“No, I do not like it so let us not speak of it again.” she replied grabbing a piece of meat from the platter and wrapping a slice of fresh bread around it.
“Aeryn, we can not undo what your father has done so we might as well make the best of it.”
“I will not make the best of it! There must be a way to nullify this arrangement. I can never be your wife Dravon. Never.” Aeryn stated with conviction, taking a long drink from her mug of ale.
Her heart was beating so fast her breathing was impaired. She could never be anyone’s wife. Never. How could she after what had happened to her? It just wasn’t possible, she thought turning away from him.
“Aeryn.” Angus spoke her name softly from behind her, but she still jumped as his breath stroked her neck. She quickly turned around to face him. When she started to speak he lay his finger upon her lips to silence her. For a moment Angus lost himself within the depths of those deep blue eyes. Whenever he looked at her his chest caved in like someone took a war hammer and thrust it against his lungs. When he saw the despair that had seeped into her depths, all he had wanted to do was kiss away her pain, her hurt, her misgivings and hold her within his arms and never let another bad thing happen to her. He knew something very bad had happened to her when she was imprisoned at Harper’s stronghold, the depth of her pain was almost tangible. When he bent to kiss her moist pink lips, her words stayed his action.
“Please don’t..” she whispered hoarsely.
Angus looked deep into her eyes. He saw she was frightened and withdrew his action. He wanted her but not like that.
